Doing expense reports is the bane of my existence. I was just reminded of this while spending a tidy couple of hours doing expenses for the past 6 weeks. Ugh. I wish there were an easy-to-use app on my Blackberry that I could use to help track expenses during downtime in cabs, airports, stations, etc. and easily have that formatted and exported into a spreadsheet. Yes, I could whip out my laptop but that's not very practical. Or perhaps an app like this already exists?
Interesting. Is it that you have receipts in your wallet and you want to process them when you have downtime? There's probably an app for that, but I am thinking a low-fi solution is you email yourself a comma-separated list, like this:
Chocolate,$5,Client A
Coffee,$10,Client B
Brownies,$15,Client C
And then when you're in front of a laptop, copy-paste the list into Excel using the Text to Columns function.
