Good post on VentureBeat on how each internet boom creates its batch of pyramid schemes, citing Agloco, eMax and KushCash as examples of ones this time around. I've written about BurnLounge previously and would also put them in a similar category. Another one that isn't quite a pyramid or multi-level marketing scheme but is potentially a house of cards is Weblo -- there's no 'there' there, and Valleywag seems to agree, but maybe I'm missing something...
Anyway, like the VentureBeat article says, they're mostly plausible on their face but caveat emptor.
