My brother, Ro (short for Rohit), is doing a 2-month stint in Mozambique working for Technoserve, a NGO that provides business advice and access to capital and markets to combat rural poverty. He's set up a blog, titled Mozambique Macaca, where he's chronicling his experience -- his project is to figure out how to develop the local economy on the island of Quirimba (tourism and coconut/biofuel are top of list).
